1950's Front Wheel DUST CAP Info Wanted == Lyndwood Project

    For years I've been trying to fingue out what "Alley Oop" had fror hub caps on the Harley side car wheels. I thounght they were a special cap originall cast by Pat Bilbow, but these aren't clost to them. Could I have overthought this and the Dixie Cup tapered caps are just tin dust caps that were common to some car in the 1950's/ Sure would like to find out some one on the HAMB can take a look and ID them, they would fit in a 2 inch ID hole.     Here is another photo of the cap, I found later Corvette caps on eBay that have somewhat of the same shape, but not a perfect match.

    I think these caps are a stock Harley Davidson item. Sure would like to find two of them. Bob

    Two Lyndwood PM's within 10 minutes! The extra ch***is I picked up and sold years ago just got a new owner. It may be the old Joe Gherzi Pontiac powered car out of New Britian, Ct. Bob:)
