Would the 19" wire wheels fit on f100 front brakes and 40 rear brakes. Would I need the Kesley Hayes Adapters found on rally America? Or would the cheaper counter part from speedway work? Speedway Adapter is just a thin piece of Metal not a bolt on adapter like jimmy sells. Here's a link to the rally America page http://www.rallyamerica.com/Adapters.html Thanks
The "thin piece of metal" (probably not a very good description) will work for the rear. The fronts will be a problem that you should ask Richard Lacy (earlyv8@aol.com, (626) 338-2282). I am not sure the Rally America one will do what you want, you should call them and ask about your specific application. Charlie Stephens
Sorry but here's a link that works for me on the speedway part. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Early-Ford-Wire-Wheel-Support,5846.html
This is the one you need on the rear where you use the 1940 brake drum/hub. Some people just use a ring for this application. Be sure your studs are long enough for this piece. Charlie Stephens
Only with a spacer/adapter that is about 1.250 thick. And if you are running any more power than a Banger forget it as those wheels are rather frail.
