I bought my -29 Ford Tudor in 2007. It was real project :D

The first motor option should to be Ford 2,8i V6 then 302 V8 and last is 305 Chevy . Every time i made motor mounts etc

The frame was sandblasted and boxed.

Rear-axle is Volvo 244 with Volvo's disk brake and Volvo's own fourlinks. It not looking nice but its cheap.

Body was channeled 3" back and 4" front.

    I put coilovers in rear.

    Frame needed some fixes.

    Floor work

2008 I bougth 4" dropped front-axel, spindlers, disck breaks etc.

    I made fourlink in front-axel.

    I designed Chevy motormounts.

    Plasma cutted parts.

    Motor dropped in frame.

    Off course we want more!
Brakes might not be traditional, but cheap and avalible is traditional hot rodding!

So you went for European Ford, US Ford and then Chevy SB?
Or did you have a Chevy 302? The 302 CSB is in my book sich a awesome engine!

The first i mounted 2,8 l Euro Ford motor in frame.

Couple years later, i think: Hot rod should be V8 engine and i bought USA Ford 302 motor and mounted it in frame.
That engine was so bad condition that i bought Chevy 305 engine. Its running well.

    Part two:

I made hole in cowl and casoline tank for distributor.

Motor is mounted with th200r4 automatic.
I strated to design steering. The first i use a-model orginal steering box with little customize.
Then I discussed this system with some enthusiasts and i forgot this version of steering.

I had one El Camino's steering box and i put it in my car. I think this is better than orginal a-model system. Only problem is very slow steering.

The universal joint is parts of Chevy and Volvo. I made ferrule between two different axels.

I made "jigi" for universal joint. Now i can roll it and check that is direct in line.
And last i did weld it.

    Drivetrain is ready.

Make sure that those plastic bushings ,for the four bar setup, will withstand the bumps and vibrations of the road with out cracking. I love all of the innovations and thought put into your build!!! Steve

    Part tree:

I made a brake pedal frame. I used a HD front axle , its just right size. Needed only cut and groove for lock spring.

    I welded some holds.

I used some old pedal arm what i found in swap meeting. I don't know which car it was. Master cylinder is behind driver, under the floor.

    Part four:

    I made some floor panels.
Now, you see where is my master cylinder place. It's Ford Sierra's cylinder but i must to change it because it's too small.

Shifter was in Ford ****** -78, i made links myself (again). Very cheap version but it's working.

Throttle was taken some jalopy and made some fixes.

Seats should change because nobody can't go to back seat. I try to get an original seats.

The first drive happen in march 2012 inside garage because outside was too much snow. Its very short distance to you but very big step for me. It have taken about 5 years to got this step.

Now its ready to the first weekend trip. I made it in July 2012. I got temporary licence plates. That weekend i drove about 100 miles.
