Just got my car painted and need an appraisal for the insurance. Would like to find someone who is "generous".
A gallon and a half Gold metallic with extra micro flakes in the two gallons of clear. Haven't seen it in the sun yet but he had hand rubbed the fender a bit before hitting it with the buffer; looked nice and sparkly.
Thanks. I just called State Farm; they do stated value. I think that's the way to go. My dad is my agent; my sister wrote the policy, I should be good.
Uh - Yea whatever. Without exception, my family has always been the first ones to support me but they have also been the first ones to screw me. Point being - why not let a shop look at it and give you a written value? Might not cost more than a lunch. Should the need arise, you would always have this independant appraisel up your sleeve.
My dad's been an agen for forty years, I feel safe. He's loaded and has no need to screw my broke ***. An appraisal may be a good "just in case" thing, however.
PM 'boldventure' on here. He is an appraiser, knows his stuff and will get you hooked up with one of his network guys near you.
