I picked this up today for a winter project. It's a Bowser pump. I have been after the farmer to sell it for several years and after some vandals pushed it over and broke some of the gl*** out he finally agreed to sell it. Restoration starts this winter.
I restored several vintage pumps. I had them at my body shop in the display window. I kept all the moving parts inside the pump together. Also, you can buy decals. I had three that were from the early 20's era. They look nice and they're worth money.
I used to restore pumps for a living. That tall bowser is one of my favorites when finished. The art deco trim, the hips at the bottom, they're just gorgeous pumps. LOVE 'EM! Have fun.
