West Coaster heading East

The wife and I will be in Boston sometime between Aug 16th and the 24th and wondering if there are any car related must see's or do's (shows, swaps, shops, etc) in that time frame. We will have a rental car, so a little travel is possible. thanks

August 17 and 18th . Downesast Street Rods 40th annual Rod Run at Hebron Pines Campground, Hebron Maine. 2 hrs 48 mins from Boston.
