Bought an all original 1956 olds 98 4 door Hoiday with a 324 rocket motor. Trying to get it running now. Installing the original fuel pump I just changed the diaphrams on.. having trouble, of course.. fairly new at the old car game, so I am learning.. I will take some pics today and post 'em for ya guys. I am a self employed woman who needs a bit of a distraction and this is the perfect relief! So having fun figuring out this puzzle..

Thanks so much for the welcome.. I'd Love to go to the car show with my 56, but not sure it would make it there.. I'm posting pics today.. I got the fuel pump and the lines installed.. and it works! My problem is the idle.. but found a long screw near the carb that was sticking..unstuck it and it idled much better.. then stuck again.. gonna take it apart and see if that's tghe problem. As far as I know, there are no vacuum leaks.
