Rebuild Olds Flathead 6?

    Anybody out there rebuilt an Olds flathead 6 213 CID? It out of a 1936 Business coupe. Any tricks to it?

    Before you even think about it make sure you can find main bearings for it.

    They are hard to come by.

    check Terrill machine in Texas,

    Egge shows an engine rebuild kit for Olds 213. It does not include main bearings in either kit. Could they be babbit style like the older Chevy 6's had??

    Yes I saw that kit, rather spendy I thought. Not sure what style they are, anyone know?
