Thanks! He did get to, um, transport it to his party down the street so he was cool with that. He's doing Jackson Community College to start with. He will transfer to either MSU or EMU. He's not sure if he's after Chemistry, Biochem, or Vet Science. He's still messing around with his truck but we'll sort it all out soon enough for him to drive. If he can land a job, then he can drive it sooner than later!!
Had fuel pump issues recently but got them sorted. Turned out it was the wires going into the top of the tank (stock S10 Blazer tank). That was after we changed a pump, a switch, chased all the ground wires, and a few other things.
Boy racer is getting deeper into college and girls (well, just this one...this week) but he's suddenly back on the truck wagon. Been working on a bed floor and all around clean up. He wants to take this girl cruizing.
Starting another one using the old cab/bed from Court's for his brother Eli. It'll be the practice unit so we can do body work before we get to his panel truck. Funny you're around here, Joe. I sent Dirty Dixon your way this week!
Court swapped the '54 for a '99 and drove that for a year. Bought a '49 3600 this weekend. The boy is on it! He really IS the next generation.
Seeing’s how I’ve never updated this myself. I’m 25 now, graduated college debt free. I’m working as an advance manufacturing engineer for commercial vehicle exhaust. I’ve hit a few bumps along the way, built a few other diesels and other projects. But now I can focus on the 54 again. Thanks for the help and support over the last 10 plus years. Time to start this party over again.
