Bonneville 2012: along the route support.

You guys must 'ave been goin' fast enough to strip the paint off the T heading into Wendover (375 miles / 4.5 hours = 84 MPH!). Good thing Officer Mitchell was not lookin your way. Glad to see the T arrived in ship shape! Enjoy the rest of speed week while you are there. Any Indian Motorcycles down there? Hahahaha

The guys are headed back home as of this morning. Got a text from Clayton around 12:30 PM saying they stopped for lunch in Jackpot, NV then on to stay the night in Ontario, OR. Car is running great so far...should home Wednesday afternoon/Evening...TONS of pics to follow!

 

I hope they replicated the famous Multy Aldrich shot from '52!

 

We stopped by the Nugget Sunday night after eating some chow. Clayton was there with his car. He had a pretty good crowd of younger folk (lol man that makes me sound like an old foggie) around him.

For those of you who don't know Clayton is a young guy too. Anyway, he was answering questions left and right about his car. He even crank started it up to the amazement of a lot of people ... that's how you start the car?

He is a super nice fella, and a good amb***ador for real hot rodding.

The guys are back on the road again and should be home later this afternoon/early evening. Had to replace another coil again, Clayton said it was acting up on the way to Ontario. He has a funny story to tell about where the T stayed the night at last night -- I'll let him tell that with pictures when he gets back

Damn damn damn just read this part of the thread. I live 20 miles west of Ontario & would have loved to have had them as guests for the night & a covered shop for the T
