Do a search. I think there was a thread on these carbs a couple of years ago...complete with a lot of fish puns.

There is quite a bit of info on the net re Fish carbs and the repro Fish carbs made by Brown in the 80s. It was a genuine effort to make a new simplified design of carb that could be adjusted for any motor. They made thousands of them and they worked, but Fish never made any crazy claims of 200 MPG. I wouldn't mind having one, or maybe 2 or 3 to put on an old time hot rod. From what I hear they work well and are not hard to tune if you follow Fish's instructions to the letter. Brown, mentioned above, sold a manual on these carbs. He says he made a lot of them and only stopped making them when fuel injection killed the market for replacement carbs.
hotrodlew2 Do you still have those fish carbs? Are you planning to use them or sell them? I'd like to try some experiments with those on my /6 if you are going to get rid of them reasonable. Was looking for the larger M-3 carbs. What is the manifold side bore diameter of the M-1? What size the fish/tyce? are all three fish/tyce the same size? Also any chance of getting copies of the paperwork? Thanks in advance for your reply, greenlitebandit
