I've searched and searched and everyone that has a 58 235 puts them in early 50's cars or trucks. I am wondering about hoppin up my 235. I have all the numbers and catalogs(patricks, langdons, larrowe, etc). I wanna put a 2x1 offy or fenton, fenton or williams headers. And possibly a 2004r or 700r4. Has anyone hopped up a 58 235 in a 58? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't understand, Johnny. There's gotta be more info on 235s here and elsewhere than you can shake a stick at. And a '58 in a '58?...You're breakin' new ground there, pal...lol. Seriously...please clarify. And maybe we can get you ta using the search in a way that'll be productive for you.

Clarify- I've seen no 58 235's mentioned in someones 58. Everyone's swapping 216's or early 235's for later 235's. Squirrel might be aware that putting an air cleaner on a 58 that is not stock, will not happen. So me wanting to hop up my 6 with a dual set up might be a chore. I have a friend that used to have a 58 235 in a 51 deluxe hopped up with duals and headers. I would love to see a 58 done up like what I am envisioning

My 58 still has its 235, exhaust came in today. My 6 is staying put, no intentions of going V8!

58 235 has more horsepower (145) compared to other years except for the Corvette 235 which had about 150 H.P.
