Just bought a flathead off another member and I've been calling machine shops in the area. Eddie's Performance is one of the only ones who got back to me saying that hey could do flathead work. Was hoping that someone here would know something about this shop or have another suggestion of a shop in NJ that they would suggest. Semper Fi
I just had one done in Pottsville pa by economy motors. Two guys in their upper eighties and i think are the only ones that own it and work there. They only work in the mornings for a few hours but these guys know old engines and prices are real fair. They stand by their work and did a good job on my flattie.
I'm in Monmouth County too. If I ever get a flathead built, it is going to Go Devil Garage. I had Bison Machine at Allaire Airport machine heads for me. Real nice and honest guy. Give them a call and ask for Rich. It all depends on what you need. He may or may not be able to help you out, but he will be honest with you. http://bisonengine.com/
Just a shot in the dark but have your tried.... Bitner Automotive 33 Olden Ave Trenton NJ 609-888-1199 Not sure if they do Flatties but Fred is one of the premier engine builders on the East cost for drag, circle track, and marine engines.
It'a bit of a ride from Monmouth but try Peter from NY Speed and Machine in Staten Island. He does excellent and precise work and he's open Saturdays and until 7pm on weekdays. . (718) 442-7881
