I am trying to help my buddy find a good, fair, place to get parts for his 65 Falcon. He needs, engine, suspension, brakes, body, etc.

What are the best places to get good deals on parts for these cars?

  2. Parts? Doesn't sound like he's got much to begin with. Why not just buy a '65 Falcon?[IMG]

Let me rephrase my question. He needs parts for all that stuff. The car is all there, it just needs a mountain of parts.

    Just run a search.

Falcon parts are essentially the same as Mustang parts. Especially stuff like suspension and what not.

What sort of engine does it have in it?

Here's a good place to get springs and bushings:

Your best bet is ebay. Check out some of the mustang parts catalogs for they have a lot of the same parts being the same platform. A parts car is your best bet for finding suspension and interior pieces. In the long run it will be cheaper than buying them seperately. Lots can be found on these cars ...they have a goood following. Doors, fenders, hoods, quarter panel patches all can be found. The ford falcon registry has lots of good links...though they do charge for membership now. I have some extra parts so let me know what yer friend needs...dino

Sounds like he may need a whole car,,,,

    I have a 65 convertible with a 1990 mustang 5.0 in it,, a t-5 5 speed transmission and disc brakes...

I'd be willing to part with. let me know it may be cheaper than buying all ofthe parts seperately...
