Can anyone point me to some of the better traditional shows in the South East? I'm trying to find a list of events radiating out from Atlanta... Drive Invasion IN Atlanta, Billetproof in Florida, etc. Races and shows. Thanks, -Brad
the red neck rumbe is coming up in lebanon, tn sept. 14-15. started ou as a r.r.show, but i see more and more trad. cars there each year as i go. they have one hell of a swap meet. i am leaving friday 14th out of cartersville.
I'm hoping the Atlanta $10,000 turns out well in October. Drag race, including blown nitro front engine dragsters and funny cars, cacklefest etc. Its should be a much smaller scale Bowling Green type event. Atlanta Dragway October 13. Also testing Friday October 12th. www.atlanta10000.com Hog Mountain Garage is sponsoring the Comp cl*** in hopes the event is a success and continues next year.
The 7th annual "Run What You Brung" Nostalgia Drags is penned for Sept. 29th Reynolds, GA at the Silver Dollar Raceway check it out here
Crusin the Cost is not necessarily traditional but the Gulfport Dragway is having a pretty traditional show the same week. Complete with heads up drags, no registration, just pay the gate fee.
"Taboo Tiki September 21-23 in Biloxi" I think its in diamondhead as far as CTC goes, we need to plan a HAMB gettogether for the latter part of the week
Brad Southerng***ers pre 65 lots of strait axles and the FE Nationals with hot rod car show and swap meet. in Meridian, MS.
Agreed Stu, remember running into you last year in Gulfport, nice to have met you. All someone needs to do is make a thread and call a date, time and place...I'll be that someone if no one else wants but then again I'm the dope inspecting grenades! Better steer clear of me leading the pack. The Cruising part of the CTC is fun, the Drag Strip is where the real action is but lets make the HAMB presence known and heard in the sea of Barrett Jackson Bidders down at the venues!
This Saturday Cleveland Tn will have a cruise in from 2:00 until ? . They usually pull 400 to 500 cars on a good weekend. Cleveland is about 120 miles from Atlanta. They do the cruise every 4th Saturday. John L
