would anyone happen to have the part no. for the output shaft seal on a 37 lasalle three speed- can't take it out right now and would like to have a new one on hand when I do-thanks in advance.
I believe that this is not available in the aftermarket. You can try Kanter or Fusick they may have one. Or try to find one that will fit that is current by reasearching the seal books.
thanks for the help- a friend of mine with some old catalogues found the Delco number and the national numbers- the seal size is 2.5 inches od- 1.5 id and 1/2 inch wide-going to use two national seals 1/4 inch wide in the above sizes. I work for a GM dealership but of course over the years all the old parts books get chucked and these nos are getting harder to find.
Napa has the seal on the shelf #15142. Just bought one today. It is actually from another application but I checked it and it fits the tail assmb.
