Its hard to tell from the pictures, almost looks like a truck axle that has been set up with the transverse spring. A picture of just the front end will tell all.
looks cool. needs front brakes and a redo on the front spring mount. Looks like it is already starting to twist.

Do yourself a favor.. Get rid of that so called "air cleaner" asap.. They ALL deteriorate and /or catch fire.. I know it looks cool and is period correct for the build BUT.. Its just trouble waiting to happen ! Way cool car ! Dave Lewis

Looks like a good start, I'd swap the front axle and put a buggy spring in the rear. swap out the wheels and tires and drive it.
