Sold my 40 coupe a few weeks back, and needed something to drive while building my 40 delivery. Paid off ALLLLL my loans, bills etc and had enough left for this plus a few parts. 35 Ford pickup, ***le as a 36, 350 chevy adapted to a 39 trans with a stock 35/6 rear with 40 brakes. WAYYY too low geared so I bought some 3.25's from Speedy Bill. Has a full Pete and Jakes front axle ***y with disc brakes. I had to do some front end work and fix a couple cooling issues before driving, but I think I have it all nipped in the **** other than swapping gears and adding rear shocks, those are on next weeks to do list. Runs drives really good. Hopefully I can get all the issues out before Good Guys KC. But for now I am really happy with it.

Wow, nice score... I think if I sold my 34, 50, 67 Triumph and 05 H-D softail I still wouldnt have 2 nickles to rub together living here in NJ, let alone pick up a cool daily driver shop truck like that one!! Best of luck with it, its cool!

I also sold my 67 VW bug and my 40 Merc project the same week, Paid off car loans dr bills credit card etc, but was bummed because I was walking, but I luckily save a few $'s so I could get this truck. Gonna start pulling the rear today for gear swap. I have most parts to get my sedan delivery driveable now, still need paint, plumbing etc, but hopefully have it on the road next summer.
