I spent Friday with a group of guys from Chariton Iowa. They had 4 cars they had brought down to race, a 58 and a 59 Corvette, a 50 Ford and a 57 Chevy. These guys kept me entertained all day. Wild Bill drove the 59 Corvette and had last driven it 40 years ago. He was racing it at the time and blew the motor and then parked it. It sat in the garage until he got it up and running for the HAMB drags. If you did not get a chance to meet Wild Bill and his group, you missed out. The whole bunch were cool as all get out and they had some cool cars.
I could not believe they let this old fart hang with them. Again, they were a great bunch.
