its a Dodge....lol.... they also are refered to as "PLODGE" ....but I have all the dodge scripting it came with.
Canadian Dodge's were Plymouth's with Dodge front clips and badges, that's where Plodge comes from. I don't recall a Dodge Suburban either but a Google search turned up plenty of results including your ad on Kijiji.
Didn't Dodge call their wagons Sierra and Plymouth Suburban at that time? I know a couple of years later they used the name Pioneer. And a few years earlier DeSoto had a Suburban 8 passenger sedan. When I read the post I thought you meant the truck bases station wagon, like a panel truck with windows. They made one of them, too. If you want to avoid confusion just call it a station wagon. Incidentally they should not be that rare. 1958 was one of the best years for Dodge, and one of the best years for station wagons. They sold a lot of cars that year and almost 20% of them were wagons. Not many left I agree but there were a lot to start out with.
thanks guys, that really gives me something to work with! definatly looks like the Crusader pic, right down to the colour!
Jay Leno has a '54 Dodge Suburban wagon that is gorgeous. Check out the video he has of it, it's a hemi with OD.
