Apologies if this has already been discussed. Fantasy Junction is selling a "piece of hot rod history" with a 303 Olds and a stick ******. All aluminum body. Just don't recall ever seeing it, and I pored over every pocketbook magazine on hot rods, customs and sports cars back 'in the day'. This car ring a bell with anyone?

Was covered in R&C a couple years back, told the full story about the car & the builder. Pretty cool car. I'll see if I can find the issue here.

Car was restored back to original by J F Launier of JF Kustoms from Osoyoos BC Canada a few years ago. Its alive and well, not sure if JF still has it or not check out JF's site probably www.jfkustoms.com or try JF TV

Astra also made a Astra GT that looked very much like a Kellison. It came on a early Corvette ch***is with kingpin frt suspension.

This car was made by Jay Everett, and later got some Barris modifications.

Not the happiest aspect of an otherwise personable motorcar:

It's sort of what one would expect had Spohn ever done an Aston Martin :D

I saw pics of it in Popular Mechanics in the early fifties. It was in an article about custom cars. Don't remember the details, but one of the other cars looked like the Buddy Alcorn Merc with the caption "this car was made very low by an amateur" ha ha.

Yes, Jeff Allison (almost cool t-shirts etc.) owned it for a while, sold it and it went up to JF's in Canada for the rebuild. Either of them will have the exact details!

Doh, I didn't see the original date!!! Just posted what has already been said!!! These damn new fangled small screen devices while convenient, sometimes ****!!!!!

I'm thinking that 43k was a steal. Maybe we haven't seen the bottom on old car prices.

$43k was a steal indeed. Me*** paid considerably more than that for the car. He obviously had good luck on other cars to send this one down the road for that price...
