just a quick tuesday update , so i went in this mornign and had to get my stuff out of the paint booth so chris could paint , and i had no where to put my doors and talegate so i ended up putting them on , for the most part everything went back the way it was , certin doors need a little adjustment but overall im pretty happy with the way its turning out , and its starting to look like a car again

you rule, stunning. My 60 wagon is such a mess right now, I can't believe she got so bad, but she was driven daily for 13 years.

Monday update time again , today i worked on a lot of little odds and ends since chris was painting i wasnt trying to make much dust , so i worked on the rear roof molding, allinged the doors and talegate better , worked on the catch for the talelight assambly and it was the end of the day, last night i finished up the horn ring and some other small stuff to get ready to send out for chrome ,all i have left to finish of for chromer is the motor mounts and intake . the body is ready to be final sanded in 320 and painted ,

Beautiful, can't wait. I started color sanding mine, did the massive hood, now onto the front fenders.

  23. Both you and Nads stuff is amazing. Cody, what's that piece you made for the back drip rail area?

    Hi Cody,
they are great, like you noted these are really thin (20 or 22 Ga?) and as many wagon owners have learned they are almost always rusty and hard to find

thanks nads , ill hopefully be doing the same thing in a couple of weeks:eek:

dont forget to mention yours as well jj, the peice was actually a rear roof drip rail molding it is steel and is always rusted out or gone on the wagons, so i just redid them , i actuall forgot about it intile the other day i came across them and said o yah i need to get theses done and put on before i paint the roof
    that it is
    thanks jim
thanks , the carbs are SU's there off of a datsun 240 z , but a lot of eroupean cars ran them as well .

thanks yah they were tought im not sure on the gage but it was like wilding paper together , i had my tig welder on the lowest possible setting and it was still blowing threw , , do you have your ? and what kind of shape are they in if you do.

cool , yah its the vw beetle color well the lighter green that is , its called cyber green matlliac , the color was too yellow so we added blue to it to get it to go with the darker green .
