'54 Chevy spare tire and jack?

Ok, so I'm recarpetting my Chevy's trunk and making panelboards, and I'm curious as to how the stock jack and spare were held in place. I have the bolt that holds the spare down in the well, but I'm missing the wing nut and I don't know how the jack was held down. Was it a spring? I've also got all these extra pieces that I'm not sure go to anything, I'll have to take some pics. Trying to get everything all cleaned up and semi stock. Thanks!

To OP, sorry, I have no pics of trunk. I'm not there yet with my car, but am also interested to see if someone chimes in with pics of nice, (near) stock trunks...
