Congratulations to Scott and his crew at Blue Collar Customs in Sacramento. James Hetfields 36 Ford, Iron Fist, makes it in this months Hot Rod magazine. I don't have a scanner so all I could do was shoot the pages and repost. A lot of modifications have been done and what you see is bare metal. Really some amazing work.
Congrats to Scott and the Blue Collar crew! Great job! We will give the article a mention in Wednesdays email newsletter. I had to go to 4 stores to find the issue, but we bought em all. And thanks to Scott for bringing it to our June show. Hot Rod Magazine Issue 10/12
Congrats Blue Collar Customs! Wicked coupe! You got to respect what Rockstars like James Hetfield and Billy Gibbons do with their money. They could be spending their money on exotic European cars but they choose to pay custom shops to build a constant stream of high end customs, my hats off to them.
Thanks for all the suport guys. The car is up in Canada right now. Metallica is filming a 3d movie and the car is going to be in it. We are stoked.
So many times when a car is heavily modified with a chop, and serious re-shaping of fenders, hood, etc. the proportions get screwed up. I have seen countless cars where the craftsmanship was very high and the execution of the details were great but the basic proportions of the car look off. Scott and his crew managed to get it just right on this car. A really great design and shape to the chop and the craftsmanship is simply amazing. I met Scott some years back when he bought a 32 sedan body from me and have watched his shops work since then. This car really shows the skills they have and I hope it gets them the recognition they deserve. Great Job.
