Was out this W/E and got a call from a buddy. This is what I got, what he got was a LOT better (1953 Fender amp, brand new!!). Cosmo
I'm sure you really made out on the stuff (and I would have bought it too & would have been as happy as a clam), but I gotta tell you I can't stop laughing about that artist rendering of that guy on the motorcycle mag..hysterical.
If that distributor has both gears I'd be interested in it. Most often the gear that is on the camshaft gets left on the camshaft. It fits on a Model T Ford. Bob
awesome! im always out garage saleing and never find any car stuff. btw is that hank hill on the cover of that bike mag??
It's pretty cool that you got those Flathead books with the 'patina' on them and knowing they were used back in the day to build something we'd probably enjoy today
Holy ****...a small Fender amp, like a Champ, or something bigger. I've grabbed some good garage sale and flea market finds, but that is a killer one.
Good Score, got some vintage plates and vintage T and A wrenches and tools at a garage sale last weekend myself. I play Blues Harp and still dream of finding a vintage Fender other Amp cheap at a garage sale, good score!
Just like most of us, I'd like to know the particulars on the amp. Maybe you should list that in the cl***ifieds... 1pickup: that's how many is on my '59 Fender Esquire
You did pretty good, I have made a few good buys on garage sales but I am impressed with yours, picked up a Craftsman Metal Lathe last year and should have bought the O2 and acetylene bottles too. Some day some one will make some buys on my estate sale
