I have a 1963 Comet S-22 convertible manual (on the floor) 260 engine -- a driver and project. I have enjoyed just puttering around and doing regular maintenance. I intend to make it more "fun". I want to put at least a 289 in it, with a more appropriate transmission, suspension/breaks and rearend.
I have found a lot of the parts I need but am looking for sources for side windows, top frame parts (previous owner welded broken frame until it is unrecognizable), and good seat covers. I would appreciate hearing experiences and recommendations. Thanks in advance
P.S. Appreciate it if you would share your resources.

It maybe flat and not lush and green but you do have loads of benefits. Like riding dirtbikes for hours without any roads or fences to deal with. Plenty of projects laying around begging to be picked up. Great camping down the road also. Out east everything you look at has cancer or someone thinks that the true color of gold is rust colored.
