I was introduced to a Popular Mechanics from July 1934 today by a friend that was born in '35. I was born in '62 so it was before both our times. Here are a couple of items that I found interesting. First off the adverti*****ts were in the front of the magazine. The first one was what caught my eye immediately, an ad for a 1934 Plymouth. You can see for your self a couple of other items I enjoyed.

i have a co-worker who works part time that was born in 1934....and when ever i have old stuff laying around(usually 34 stuff) and he ask about it,,i tell him what it is and i jokingly say "hey man, this is as OLD as you!" ...usually followed by his reply " yeah, but i'm in ALOT better shape! " ... hahahha
I fixed 3 & 4 so please enjoy and I agree that would make a nice poster. P.S. "When writing to advertisers please mention Popular Mechanics"
Can you imagine the pandemonium that would erupt if you tried the spark plug fire start on page four in a California state park? Laughing my self tired
I remember sitting in the attic for hours looking at my Dad's Popular Mechanics and Mechanics Illustrated.
