What you have is a hot rod of the 80's! ditch the molded bumpers, paint, etc. and its worth the asking price.

^^^^^ what are your plans for it???

  5. Fix some wiring issues, remove the continental kit, add a front roll pan, paint it flat black, & drive it a while and then who knows.

Not to my taste but if you like it go for it. I would have to lose the cont. kit, molded bumper aprons and painted bumpers. Don't buy it if you are going to want to change everything.

  11. I May just fix the mechanical issues and remove the rear bumper and put it back for sale for a very reasonable price.

Running, functioning 49 -51 Merc for $7500? Seriously $7500 is not a great amount of dough to pay for a car ANY vintage 49 - 51 Merc 2 or 4 door. Although I would look REALLY close to how the existing mods were done. Some of the worst bodywork I've ever seen have been on "customs".
