Hey all, I have begun the daunting task of collecting parts to build my own hot rod and this web site is great! So much knowledge that I will definitely be referring back to when my pile of parts becomes something I can put together. :D

Hey thanks Jimbo! The car in my avatar is actually a 28 sedan that I sold in favor of finding a cleaner, more complete, 30 sedan. But I have enough parts at the moment to keep me busy until I find the right body

Jeep stands for "just empty every pocket". Owned a Jeep shop here in Durango and was off road for thirty some years. Hot rods are a lot easier and cheaper.
Welcome again and I hope you don't own a boat and a horse. If so, you are doomed.

Hahah ain't that the truth! I've owned several jeeps I love them but I've reached a point with my current Xj that I'm done modding it and I'm going to maintain it and put funds into the hot rod now.
