As far as the rear gl*** ( on the lift gate... Is that what it's called?) on a '56 Country Sedan, are there other years and or model wagons that use the same gl***? I've been looking on-line for a replacement but haven found any specifically for a Country Sedan... Thought? Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks for the help! JJC
It would seem to me that any of the 56 station wagons would have the same gl***. Don't believe that they changed the roof lines from model to model but I could be wrong. You can also look at 1955 models. Do some measuring of your opening and compare to the sellers specs.
Check '52-'54 as well as '55. I know '55 and '56 are the same, think they may be the same back to '52. Go to www.fordbarn.com and check on the '54 and up forum, somebody there will know for sure, you may find someone who has one or has a whole lift gate with a good gl*** in it.
All 1955 ford station wagons will fit also sedan deliverys and courier same goes for 56 i have 2 extra ones but i am in canada

There is a body shop here that also is an A model restoration shop and he cut's flat automotive gl***. Can't you just have one cut?
