Has anyone ever run across the old Von Dutch ones he sold in the little wooden box with the adapters? I saw one on ebay one time and would love to find one. It only sold for like 50 bucks or something.

I bought a cool illuminated flamed green and cream cast resin gearknob about 2-3 years ago from a small home-brewed outfit named FlameBall, they were $40.00 then and they shipped it to me in the UK with no problems.
looked great all lit up at night in my '29 "A" roadster pickup !
I don't know if they are still trading, worth a look if you're interested.

    Hope it helps you.

holy **** you can use blown gl*** for a shift knob

well i have all the goodies to make those gl*** shift knobs in my garage but do they use an insert while the gl*** is hot to thread into or do they somehow drill and tap them?

if i can make them then some cheaper gl*** kustom knobs will be available

Thanks for the replies, hobbyknobs was the site I was thinking of. I love the gl*** ones but can't justify spending $300.00 for a shift knob. If ya can make them cheeper I'll buy some. :D

I've got one of cougardan's shift knobs. VERY well made. Look for it in my truck at the H.A.M.B.drags. Working on getting it painted and ready now.
