I got to work on the shell yesterday but didnt get it done. I ended up haveing to widen it 1 3/4'' so the radiator would fit. I allso ended up taking 3'' out of the bottom of it. To me, and the owner the proportions fit the car better now then it did. Ill get a pic. after I get done rebuilding the bottom of it. Allso for the lights I think we are going to try to find some about like the ones on it (Maybe a lil longer) and lower them 2''-3''. For the insert Im thinking adding 4or5 vertical stainless bars in the mid were i added the width. Then I can redo the stainless trim ring that went around the outer opening and ether split and fix the stock insert and re-use it or make some horizontal bars for it. Thanks for all the input guys

I think it looks just fine without cutting or stretching. Looks like a sweet ride man!

I like the way it looks in the front view. I would lean the grill back on the top to improve the side view... and roll the bottom up following the grill insert shape. If it needs to be wider I would do it in the middle cutting it down the center to keep the grill inserts stock and taper the section added to match the hood trim , then have it chromed like you mentioned. I guess it would kind of look like an anglia grill...with a chromed trim piece down the middle of the grill then a painted strip in between the grill inserts.....damn that sounds like a lot of work.....keep in mind I don't know shit.

I think it looks boss. Different, maybe fiddle with the headlights but who knows. I think that you should pinch the frame and make it really streeeeemlined. At this point a pinch would be chinchy, and would give an awesome look. With hood sides and a flowing nose it would be salt-rific.

I got the hood made and did widen and shorten the shell. I wont do the insert till the body is done though. I had to be widend for the radiator to fit and shortened for ground clerence. Here it is now.

  6. Steve that is F'in cool. I can not believe how far it has come in such a short time. It looks a million times better with the hood and grill shell on it. I was skeptical when nothing was on the front. It looked awkward before.

It is cool as hell now  - Keep up the good work.

  8. The shell turned out good.

Is there any way to bring the hood sides down a little further?
