Howdy from Denver!

Howdy! I'm a recent transplant to Denver from St. Louis. I've always been into old cars & trucks. First car was a '62 Impala in '87. Back in 2008, I found a '49 half ton that had been sitting in a salvage yard for 30-40 years. Decided to make it my daily driver & I will be taking this truck to the grave with me. It's still a work in progress, but driveable. I'll be asking for lots of advice.

 

Here is a photo when I had about 100miles on it. I made the bed sides for my move.

Thanks, Fastcar. I had to look up Blackwater. I've stopped at Boonville many times going back and forth to KC from St.L.
damage: All us rustbelt guys move to Denver to preserve our trucks. My Impala had more cancer than good metal. I'll check out those links.

 

it's a small town. lots to see and do though. cheap and peacefull living.
