Newly registered, did not do my intro before my first post and I heard about it. Justifiably so. What do you want to know? Been turning wrenches since I was 14. Got hooked on speed when I took my boss's '69 Nova 396/375 to the parts store. Went sideways first time I stomped on it, hooked ever since. Bought that Nova from him and I still have it. Wrenched for about 5 years before I got a job as an electrician at a utility. Regular work, good money. Just retired, thinking now I have time to work on my cars. I have brought a '59 and a '69 Vette back from the dead. Drivers, not show cars. Also have a '66 Cutl*** convert and the Nova referenced above that I am trying to restore (how did I have time to work?). If I get those done, I would like to do a '32 or something similar. Have been referencing info on this board for years. Finally signed up. Thanks for all the info, past and future. Dan
Welcome from Union Pier, MI. My back story much like yours, do the hot rod and be happy. I've put my 50"s and 60's on the back burner so I can play with the 32. Good luck and I hope you find a hot rod project.
