Just found out that Mike Drumm passed away via facebook. Mike was a fixture of the New England scene and an all around great guy. I always looked forward to seeing him at shows. Rest in Peace Mike.
R.I.P. Mike. The first time I met him we talked like we were old friends, that's the kind of guy he was. Kate is right, he had an infectious smile that rubbed off on everyone, I miss him already. God Speed
I only met him once at The Sin Alley Saints show, and he was just super nice. What a shame. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Stood in line for an hour to pay my respects. Just goes to show you what kind of a guy he was. I will miss walking around the swap meets with. Rest in peace man.
I am humbled..and deeply touched. As I was leaving the Rumble at Ralph's yesterday Matt Drumm and Johnny Custom waved me down and presented me with this red bowling pin trophy that is the 1st annual Mike Drumm award. They explained that they chose the custom that Mike most would have loved and appreciated and apologetically explained that the guy who was supposed to have pinstriped the pin had disappeared ...Well, I'm not much of a trophy guy but having met Mike several times over the years ...and seeing the look in Matt's eye...I literally had goose-bumps and a lump in my throat. What an incredible honor. Since it's cool with Matt I'm going to re-paint the pin the same color of Mike's Chevy and have it striped black, cream, and burgundy(my colors) and hopefully start a tradition of the trophy always flying Mike's colors and getting striped with those of the annual winner. What a mind-blowing and humbling honor this is. Talking with Matt and Johnny about Matt's 235 rebuild ..and shaking that young man's hand was what it's all about.
Always tough to lose one of the good guys. R.I.P. brother. Congrats on the award in Mike's honor dude. Nice to hear how far a friendly smile goes. ~sololobo~
