Looks great post cleanup. Love that beltline. Please don't paint it!

Do you remember where you heard/read this? I am working on getting a 39 Standard sedan and am currently planning to buy a Y from a friend who has one squirreled away. I tried to dig up some info on here but without much luck.

I just remember from experience, but it's been a while. If you had a remote filter plate you could get around it...I had a neat finned aluminum Hildebrant plate but sold it off a while back. Y blocks are also pretty long, I know shoehorning one in a 33-36 Ford is tight.

Chris has an advantage over many of us. He has a Father and brother that are just as crazy as him. When Chris finds a rig, usually one of them is looking for one too, so when it comes time to sell he always has a buyer. :) It makes buying a car much less stressful when you know you can find a home for it quick! Now, poor Becky (Chris' Mom) she is about to make Dave(Chris' Dad) move out into one of the bazillion projects he has picked up from Chris. :)

So Boones don't even try to stay in the loop. :)

I like it, I like the 38 and 39 Fords. You come up with the coolest stuff. I will do some checking and may be able to round up some of those front end parts. I know where theres a pretty nice grill.

Not sure if you saw them, but there is a pair of rough back doors on the 'bay. Not cheap, but i can't imagine there are a lot of them floating around.

I just found that...in Montana it sounds like. Good thing I already snagged one, Great Falls is quite a trek, even for me :D
