Funny, I am just the opposite. I read all intros and especially profiles, so I can know who I am dealing with. If I see no profile and no intro, I ***ume the person is a spammer or just signing up to see what they can get. Most rodders are proud of their heritage and post a proper intro, this is after all a community and most are willing to share knowledge.
For the OP, I run a Jaguar and it fits perfect. Wheels don't belong outside fenders.

Yes it is a single rear door. The floor is the same as the 47 4 door. My wood supports that run up the driver and p***enger doors were trashed, so we took the support pillars off a 4 door and replaced them. Still have to redo the drivers side rocker panel. Both were trashed. Its a lot of metal work. still chuggin along though

I've been working on a "late model" mid 60s 544, aside from the curved windshield, it looks an awful lot like a miniature 47 ford.

Why can't we all just get along! I don't see that he should have chapped anyone with the question. What are we a bunch of grumpy old men? Many years ago I put a corvair frontend in a forty ford tudor, it darted in different directions whenever it desired, I wish someone had been around to tell me to put the straight axle back into it with upgrades like I finally ended up doing. No one is born with the knowledge that we've all spent year earning the hard way, lets help the young guys out whenever possible to continue our p***ion for the hobby, sport, profession.........

To the OP, you haven't really said what your plans for the car are. If the mustang 2 you have isn't in the car yet, and it will be a more traditionally styled build, you could still look into doing a drop axle and new leaf spring in front and having a more traditional front end. What motor and trans? What will you use for a rear end?

Probly going with the Jag IFS in the front, Ford 9" rear with posi pumpkin and leaf springs. adding rear seat, moving gas tank, most likely 350 SBC with a 350 turbo. I dont want to use original front end because people have told me it rides rough. and im missing a couple key parts in the original front end so i dont want to have to spend a whole bunch of money finding them. The Jag front ifs should go right in without much modification and all i will need to do is make motor mounts. But this is all way ahead of where im currently at. I have tons of body work to do and some fab work.

  13. Use XJ6 or XJ12 Jag front end up to mid eighties..
The perfect fit and perfect ride.
Huge ventilated 4 pot discs as well.
