It's that time again for The Invasion carshow. Talked to some of the guys and sounds like it's shaping up to be a good show this year. Labor day weekend 09-01-12 In the heart of Deep Ellum, Tx. Who all's planning on going ?

I pre-reg'd today. I had a good time last year. This really is one of the best one day shows I've ever been to.

 

I'm in registered a week or so ago.

 

Just completed my reg this morning.. The weather's starting to cool off just in time, it should be another good one !

I'm going. I'm taking the Econoline.

 

I will be there in my '37 pickup. Had a blast last year, I can't wait.

 

I love an econoline! I'll be there in the bel. Should be a good time, lots of nice looking cars from what rusty is showin on the facespace page.

 

Yup, wouldn't miss it.

 

Damnit, I'll be in Dallas for a wedding. So close.

It'd be a shame if you got "sick" and had to bail on the wedding early now wouldnt it.... Lots of folks hang out until the wee hours of the morning anyhow. Chances are you cruise by and there will be some stuff to look at and people to hang with no matter what time it is.

I don't know Dallas all that well but from what I've been hearing today , avoid 635 at all cost this weekend. See y'all there.

 

It's easy to avoid 635 and still make this show,downtown is accessable from I30 Or I75... see you guys there !

Had a blast but dam was it hot and muggy. We didn't stay for the after party and didn't take may pictures (was to hot to walk around much and there was a shit load of people), I'll try to post what we took in the morning.

 

Agreed! Awesome show, but boy was it muggy. The location was perfect.

Sucks I forgot my camera.....some really nice cars, trucks and bikes at the show.

 

We stopped in at the end of the night and caught Los Straitjackets and met up with friends, there was still a handful of cars around. We'll be back next time for the whole thing.

 

Great time as usual! The crew really did a great job this year, lots of good cars and people.. I took a couple of pics before we left the house, I always get one of the caravan lined up ready to roll. But got to the show and forgot I even had a camera! D'oh!! So if anybody got some pics post em up!

Rusty was tellin me it was the most cars ever for the show! Now that the business owners and property owners are on board it can only get better!!

 

Man great turnout this year despite bieng hot as hell all day. Lots of nice rides and cool folks, glad to see this show really taking off again! Thanks to all the guys in THEM for throwing one hell of a shin dig, We'll be back next year again in full force.

 

It's got to be a huge job to pull this off, we were talking about that on the way home last night. Big thanks to "THEM" we has a great time and the show keeps getting better and better.

I saw a LOT of Old Rods and A Couple of customs headed toward Dallas (many in groups) as I drove to east Texas on Saturday..... I suspected some would be at the Invasion.... I'm looking for pics to see if I had it right or not. I was driving out "80".

 

LSM...nice work on the rear with the new tail lights....

 

Apache, That's me and my wife Lynda sitting behind "Frankie" our '49 fleetline. We had a great time, saw alot of cool cars and since it was our anniversary we partied late into the nite and stayed at the Indigo so we could come home Sunday morning. But to top it off Frankie recieved the best chop award. AWESOME.

 

Thats great, y'all certainly have a beautiful car and are very deserving of the award. I'm glad this show is getting better every year it was hot but very fun. Happy anniversary we had to head back to FTW so I didn't stay for the show. Next time I will stop by and say hello. You going to Pistons and paint in Denton?
