I have had my insurance on my old 32 roadster with Grumby since I've owned it 8 years or so. Next year my 36 Sedan Delivery and 34 Plymouth Coupe will be ready to go and on the road. I can't see myself logging more then a couple thousand miles on any of them as I live in Upstate and have a short season. I just got my invoice from Grundy and they raised it for the first time since I joined them. I want to say I have NO complaints with them but no claims either. What's the best way to insure 3 cars that don't log many miles. I would like to keep the cars insured year around just to save the h***le of starting and stopping insurance. Thanks, Jim
Just keep them with "Grumby". Every ins. co. is raising thier rates. They are saying that is because a scratch costs $500 to fix these days instead of $200 like a few years ago. The small claims have gone up so much they have to gey it back somehow. I hate ins. co. as much as anyone else but I understand thier problem.
I also have Grundy & it went up about 4 dollars no Big deal considering what they Charge compared with the Other Co. Just my 3.5 cents
Contact Americian Modern Ins Co. I just switched from about $750 with my company to $426 for same coverage but with a $300 dedt. for four cars. Their policy with good coverage, cost me $136 for Liabilty. Then you add only about $55 to $75 for collision and fire and thieft for each additional car.
whos got your street car?? try state farm and american family if your street wheels are with same co it helps
I have mine as a Recreational Vehicle, and can drive 5000 miles for each collector car I have. I have 4 Old Cars, and 3 Drivers. Ask for Recreational, unless you are driving everyday, and that is a different story ! It is just like Insuring a Motor home, or a Motor boat.
