Okay, finally time to start a build thread on my roadster.
Picked up the body early this year, It has been pieced together from a few different cars but has no rust!
All the patch work has been done (some better than others, but we'll tackle that later).
Have been collecting parts for some time here is the spec sheet so far:

    1930 Roadster Body
Model A Frame with pickup trans crossmember, no kickup
59A Flathead (older stock rebuild with very low miles)
'46 sideshift box (good for legroom)
    '34 front axle - undropped
    '39/model A hybrid wishbone
    '39 rear axle

Inspiration for me to keep chugging away on my 30 roadster ( not that I need it!), but you're so much further along for having started with a rust free body ( not that I'm jealous... okay, maybe a little). Still, I like your mockup and will be following this for sure!

Here are a couple of closeups of the body as purchased.
As i said some of the patches are better than others, I will be replacing the wheel wells because 1: they are fugly & completely the wrong shape & 2: the previous owner has notched them (and the subrails) for a Jag rear end.

here is the pickup transmission crossmember all cut/trimmed/bent & bolted in place.
As you can see being a right hand drive with the sideshift box it's all pretty crammed in there, & I still have to fit the steering column & gas pedal in there too.

So last nights task was to make a bracket to mount the wishbone off the trans crossmember.
I started with a hunk of 5" square tube

then cut in into this kinda shape

drilled some holes & test fit

bracket will be gusseted & welded on to the crossmember.
Unfortunately about now my grinder died on me so I did what any of us would've done....sat in the roadster for a while on a pallet & made vroom vroom noises, cleaned up & called it a night.
    more updates soon.
