Nice day here to kick back and nurse down a few cold ones... Make sure you don't burn those burgers an' dogs on the grill...
Going to do a little yard work and when I'm done I'll be right there with ya Deuces. Sipping on a cold one and looking at the grill.
Hope everyone has a good holiday,,and use common sense about drinking and driving,,as James Dean use to say "Take it ease,,,The life you save might be mine" HRP
Thanks HRP!!... Got everything I need for today... So I don't need to do any traveling.. Besides... The wifey hid my keys.. Bless her heart!!...
was plannin on drivin my wifes ot 67 impala around some to get it ready for the redneck rumble. its fresh up 283 and needs to be driven before i go off on a 4hr ride..lol. but rain may stop that idea. but todays my birthday so i may just go back to bed and stay there.
Took in an outdoor J.Geils concert in Buffalo on Friday and a 1300 car, car show on the shore of Lake Ontario in Olcott on Saturday. Life is good!
All original members except for the drummer is what I was told. And yeah, the Wolf still has it! Man he was smokin'! Oh and they did "Detroit Breakdown"!
well guys thanks for the bithday greetins, i appreciate it much. should have stayed in bed tho. we went out in the shop got the hood bolted on the wife 67 impala and thought we would drive it to the store and get some goodies. only about 5 miles there and back. got there ,got gas and stuff./ car did good. started her back up and drove home. good. i got out pulled up a shop door and the son drove her in. good. we were walkin around her braggin on how good she sounded and looked and ran. 5 min later my shop floor is full of antifreeze ,not good..lol./ seems the radiater decided it had enough and let loose right there in my shop.lol at least my crippled *** didnt have to walk home in the rain and get a truck and rope.lol.. but glad it did it now and not in 2 weeks when we would have been on our way to tn.
Happy Labor Day to all us working people! Did some cruising in my Acadian, then relaxed in the backyard in the sunshine with a few beers.
Its a big thing here. The town have a trick or treat street where businesses have a main street shut down and hand out candy.
In Kingman, they do the big street thing, but instead of businesses doing it, a local car club hands out the candy and show their cars. Its the only time of the year I can put my casket in the front yard and not be considered a kook,,,,,,, mostly.
My birthday as well did a little yard work then took the rest of the day off . Had a great turkey dinner with my family and shared a few stories , it was time to reflect as I turned 50. Family and friends that is what life is about. Rob
