Hit me up, I even horse trade dude. http://circcreative.com/

Tuck is completely righth, branding is everything and can and will make or break you.

  13. What Tuck means to say( insert nervous laugh )is your logo doesn't convey a proper "postive business image". It's hard to read and and has no "branding appeal" or create a "ambience" about your business. It also fails the "4 second" rule too. In other words it ****s.

There are many professional logo designers and automotive illustrators on this board. Tuck, Brush, Pic***o to name but, a few. They all "GET" what your trying to do.

Just look what Jesse, Paul Sr. and others have accomplished with their "branding". Good luck with your endeavor.......and remember a business with no sign is no sign of business.

    J  el

    Tuck your a baaaaad boy. :D :p ;)

I do like the simplicity of Ryan's design.
Straight to the point and very clean.

What program's are you guy's using to make these?
I want to get something myself to do basic computer images, like shop sign's etc..
I'm trying to come up with a shop name and logo for myself, and it would help if i can put it to a computer image to see it.
    Thanks.

Oh yeah, i thought it said 'tron' too!! Hahaha

  19. PakRat32,

Coreldraw can be used to do that kind of designing. What is the shop name? I can send ya some Adobe Illustrator files later in the week.

You don't have to go that simple as Ryan suggested. You can still have some graphics in there. Now I'm no pro but here are two I did for a mythical speed shop...

I think it is always good to have two graphics for a property. One like those above and another (like Ryan posted) for smaller item printing and embroidery. You really want to make a statement and have it be remembered by the customer.

    Just my two cents.

BTW-Tuck's logo is one of the best I have ever seen.

I didnt even know I had a logo-

simple and to the point- the main thing is that the customer knows what your offering by reading the name of the bizz- I think that ryans quick logo is STRONG.

like SOCAL SPEED SHOP, thats everything you need to know about what they're up to....

i dont like doing logo design personally

-its like this though- if there's a **** stain on your pants ill TELL YOU...
that was my sole reason for replying to this post.

It is a card reference. The number 2. As in the number on the door of the first car. Luck. Gambling. Ya dig?

But I guess you could reference the car too. I wasn't going that route.
