    Hello from down here..
I'm putting a mustang 8 3/4 diff under a fendered model A that is running 16" wires (5 1/2" BP) the diff is 4 1/2" BP . Is there a one inch wide spacer available to achieve this? Looking for a supplier who can ship a pair to Australia if anyone knows of them.
My other option is to have 4 1/2" centers welded into the wheels, but this is expensive, and as they need to be spaced back an inch to clear the drum anyway, I thought a bolt pattern adapter would be easier and maybe cheaper..
    Thanks for any input!
    Ben

I just aquired an old complete 1934 front end that still has the mechanical brakes on it and there is a pair of aluminum 5 on 5 1/2 to 5 on 4 1/2 wheel adapters mounted on it.

If you can hang on a few minutes, I'll run out and snap a few pics...be right back.

Ok, is this what you are talking about?

No room to redrill the axles Ben? That would be my first thought.

Yeh it's the opposite to those pics, 4 1/2 on the diff, 5 1/2 on the wheel. thanks though Larry !
Striper, not enough meat, and they need spacers anyway because of the wire wheel design interfering with the drum edge.

Speedway Motors (SpeedwayMotors.com) has all the possible combinations of wheel adapters on page 226 of their current catalog. They cover 4 1/2, 4 3/4, 5, and 5 1/2
patterns going both ways. Check 'em out.
