Go to Downtown Disney, grab some breakfast and watch all the people. Go play in all the stores, then grab some lunch.
Two rides (or more) (space mountain, whatever is new) at Dland. Then get on down to Roma D' Italia in downtown Tustin and grab some veal scallopini! THE BEST!
Nov 3rd. Not looking for theme parks, just car related ,the cheaper the better. Im taking my daughter to a concert and trying to do something I want to do in the morning before the concert.
Can you get on the container park where Lions used to be, If so can you tell it was ever a drag strip or would it just be a wasted drive?
Donut shop show early in the morning. You will see plenty of cars. It's in Huntington beach so it isn't Anacrime but its not very far.
Thanks jeffsled and mataconcepts, thats what Im looking for. Are there Any closed racetracks where you can still see where the track was and take pics within a couple hours away ?
Disneyland- actual DCA and go visit Radiator springs and try and ride Radiator springs racers. Check out Ramones house of art. Radiator springs is a recreation of the old route 66.
California is prime realestate no abandoned property. There's open tracks like Irwindale, Fontana, & Bakersfield.
What day?, maybe I missed the date, Nov 3rd is Aces Poker run http://www.acescarclub.com/Events/events.htm
If your into custom culture art, this place is in anaheim. Its a paint supply store/automotive art museum, and its FREE! http://coastairbrush.com/
I would start with the Donut Derelicts as others have mentioned, but you need to head down there at 6:00, 8 is too late, Then head to Pomona and the NHRA Museum - it's about 45 mi to an hour away, only costs $5.00 if I remember. From there run over to So Cal Speed Shop, 10 minutes down the road. From there head back towards Anaslime, but stop at C.W. Moss in Orange and right next door Reid's Hot Rod Parts http://www.cwmoss.com/. A couple of blocks north is Nostalgia Rod on Collins and Batavia in Orange. Across the street is Modern Performance, which is an Early Nova joint, around the corner is Circle City Hot Rods and Jimmy White just might show you around. There is also The truck and Car shop a couple of blocks south http://www.truckandcarshop.com/ It's now time to head back, so just go north to Katella, make a left and your back in Anamialheim in a few minutes.
Go to the orange circle. Check out the Bruery Store. Drink good beer. There is also a cool chevy only store in orange, and there is a ford one as well.
On the way to Pomona stop by The Early Ford Store in San Dimas off the 57 on the way to Pomona. A must!!! You'll drive the whole 57 Freeway 10-15min.
Yes, I forgot about the Early Ford Store in San Dimas, 5 minutes from the NHRA Museum. Hit it the way to the NHRA, then do So Cal, then back to Orange.
