The link below will allow you to preregister as a racer or a spectaator to buy advance tickets (additional tickets, last item on list) http://atlanta10000.com/race-entries/10th-annual-race-registration/ Advance registration allows for easier entry on Saturday, Oct. 13th. We will have a separate lane for participants who are preregistered and have their tickets. If you preregister but lose your tickets you will have get in line with unregistered folks. If you arrive on Friday night for the Year One Test and Tune you will have to pay at the gate because we are not renting the track Friday. Cars and drivers may enter more than one class.

We have an additional event at the Atlanta $10,000 Drags & Car Show
A Heads Up 1/8 mile Gasser Shoot Out. The cars will be 'period correct' - '69 and earlier NHRA safety rules will apply. The rules will be posted on the website http://atlanta10000.com/ under Race Classes - Nostalgia Gas. We are trying to bring the best possible safe racing to the participants and the fans

 

I got a call from Art Dromgoole last night and I will be there driving his Back Yard Guys nostalgia top fuel car. Any and all HAMB'ers are welcome to stop by and say hi (or G'day).

We need to devise a central meeting place for all the HAMB members who will be there. I know there are going to be several HAMB members there. It'd be a shame if any of us went through the day without greeting each other.

Hey Elaine, I will be attending and Randall Davis will be bringing the last Funny Car "Dixie Twister" my father Huston Platt ever ran and could possibly be one of the last funny cars still around that ran at the Atlanta Speed Shop back in the old days. We look forward to the event!
