New to the forum today. Bought a '64 Galaxie convertible last month. Fell in love with her. Drove to Ohio to buy her. A few minor leaks, no bigee. Was told "not a speck of rust on the frame". She was low to the ground, he seemed like a nice guy, I took his word. Put her up on a lift this past Saturday at my mechanic's place to diagnose the oil leaks, and there was some rot in three places on the p***enger side frame near the rear wheel. The rest of the frame knocks solid. Had a guy look at it today who said I need to "find a frame". So, it's time to begin my search for the frame or my options. I have read some great info on your site. Figured it was time to jump in! I plan to drive her more than most. I am wide open to any advice as I know most of you have been around the block a number of times. Thanks!

welcome to the site, great looking car. I have always loved them, had 1 in the family and really wanted to do it over. It also had a rusted frame , but the body was pretty beat also. Bought a rust free frame for it, but hit the abort ****on on that project. Sold the car, still have the frame. I sent you a private message. feel free to call me
