54 cad disc brake conversion

does anyone have info on disc brake conversion. i want to convert to disc brakes for the front on my 54 cad coupe...is there anyway i can keep the 5x5 bolt pattern on it

 

Go with Scarebird, he's an alliance vendor on here. Looks like you keep the 5 x 5 but need later wheels.

cool cool.....i have a spare set of 94 fleetwood rwd rims and tires will those work for my 54...also...if i decide to restore the stock wire wheels will the disc brake conversion work with the orginial wheels

Yeah, Mark was very helpful when I did mine... but to answer your question my conversion used later model (88 - up) GM truck rotors so the bolt pattern will still be the same - as for clearance etc. Like 55 Dude said, call Scarebird.

from what i seen on scarebird site its basically bearing and rotors from a pick up. pads and caliper from an eldo.
