Sorry this is semi OT since its for my tow rig, which is a 91 dodge ram diesel (but hey they made the same thing from 1972-1993!). I have the bench out of it to paint the floor and install new vinyl and think its about time I redo the seat springs. Where on earth can I buy springs that I can cut and wire in to fit? Any tutorials available on how to do it? The only local shop to me charges about $400 to stuff foam between the springs and then tell you that they "firmed it up." That works for all of 5 miles.

Junk yards look for back seats from small 2 door cars, no one big or heavy can fit back there to wear them out :D

New zig zag springs can be bought by the foot or the roll at most upholstery shop suppliers. Also get new clips, joints etc.
