hi guys i need of a inspiration for the paint of my buick the interior is finished in tangerine candy UK08 on BC10 now my painter want to paint the roof and under the doors white with tangerine scallops but i don't love the white ,and the bicolor scheme with scallops i think or bicolor or scallops what do you think? wich is the best color with tangerine for the scallops or for the roof'? this is the car now Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG] Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG] [/IMG]
Nice car! I like the base color. A two-tone might look good with a light cream or a very light dove gray as the lighter color, maybe with a bit of pearl in the clear coat. Just a couple of thoughts. I don't know about the scallops ... maybe if I saw a sketch, I could offer an opinion there.
That is one good lookin Buick. If it were mine I would do cream color scallops with some dark tan pin striping. The real deal is do what you like and don't pay attention to guys like us.
i would probably do the scallop thing, im a ****er for scallops, hell id scallop myself if i could. but the white may come out better than you think. if not you could do the original style behind the wheel well, im sure there's a word for it but i cant remember it. but whatever you do, make sure that roof has plenty of flake, and pinstriping and flying eyeballs all around.
What if you did it in a cream/light beige white with tangerine fades along the body lines and edges ?
thanks guys for the answers the cream scallops are my personal idea but my painter want to paint also the roof and the under door also cream or ivory but i don't think scallops and bicolor ar good together a lot of confusion in my mind
this is my painter color idea but i think it's to much cl***ic i'm building a custom with air-ride suspension chopped roof etc!!
