It was a pleasure to welcome Willem from the Scrapers CC from Holland, he´s one hell of a guy and we had lots of fun with him. I guess he did a 1200miles one way to come to our party. Great movies! Thanks! I had a quite funny experience on my way from Munich to the south of Vienna last Friday. First off I must admit that a Hot Rod or even an old car is a very rare sight on Austrian roads, so after a couple of hundred miles cruising the autobahn through Austria I got used to being filmed and photographed by the people in cars passing by my 34 Plymouth. A family from Hungary must have filmed me for at leat 20 miles clogging the fast lane. They passed me by, slowed down, made me pass them by, just to get a shot of every angle of my car. After a while I had to fill up so I pulled into a gas station right next to the Autobahn near St. Pölten. As I stop at the pump, the service guy comes waving and shouting out of his shop, all in excitement, telling me that he had never seen such a car before an hour ago and now two of them within an hour. He just couldn´t get it at all. " There was a guy with a car, just like yours, but smaller, without fenders and a hood, and it didn´t have a roof too" he called lookin at my full fendered 2dr sedan." He had black plates , I guess he was from Poland." As he described the car I tought of Alex Schieder´s T-roadster, but it wasn´t grey but flat black and had red German plates. And I also know that he couldn´t make it to the Hep Demons Party. So I was quite curious about who this T-roadster driving guy was. As I arrived at the party place I found out it was Scraper´s member Willem, one hell of a nice guy. I hope he arrived home safely. I still have to smile when I think of the service guy at the gas station all excited about seening a hot rod for the first time in his life and then 2 within an hour. Just too cool. Chris
